Delhi is the capital of India and has many transportation routes, most notably its metro system. The current network comprises 389km with 285 stations (much more than the metro system in any other country) and spans to four different places in Northern India – Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon & Ballabhgarh. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. was created on 3 May 1995 with E. Sreedharan serving as the first managing director. The DMRC’s Managing Director, Mangu Singh handed over charge as MD of DMRC to GVK Reddy on 31 December 2011. As of now, there are a total of 254 metro stations including the Airport Express stations in Delhi Metro
