Food Chain and Food Web in Hindi
Food Chain– A food chain is interconnected, depending on its food habits, an animal belongs to more than one chain. This web of food chains is called food web. For example, grass is eaten by locusts and also by rabbits or animals, and these herbivores can eat more than one carnivore according to their food habits – such as frogs, snakes, birds or lions with irregular food chain food. It’s called a mesh.
Food chains are not isolated sequences but are linked to each other. For example – a rat which is dependent on food, it feeds many secondary consumers and tertiary carnivores get their food from many secondary organisms. Thus each carnivore is dependent on more than one type of prey.
As a result the food chain is interconnected in the surrounding. This type of interconnection of species (i.e. when there are alternatives to the food chains of organisms) is called a food web.

In an ecosystem, more than one food chain joins horizontally to form a web-like structure, this is called a food web or food energy flows in different directions, so that the organism of one food chain is related to the organism of another food chain. If so, it is called a food web.
In this way any organism can get its food from more than one nutritional level. For example, in grassland ecosystems, hay is eaten by rats instead of rabbits, and rats can be eaten directly by hawks.
It also happens that first the snake eats the mouse and then the snake is eaten by the eagle and the grasshopper eats the grass and the lizard eats it, the eagle eats the lizard directly, as a result of which all the food chains together form a web, this food water ( Food web). Grass ecosystems may have alternate webs of five of the food webs.
