Intelligence Bureau (IB) ACIO Syllabus
The full form of IB ACIO is Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer. It is a national-level examination that is conducted once a year. It is a classified Grade II, Group C (Non – gazetted, non – ministerial) executive post. The selection process for Intelligence Bureau ACIO exam is divided into three phases, which are given below. The IB ACIO Grade-II/ Executive Recruitment posts are subject to All India Service Liability which means candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India.
- Tier 1 (Phase-1)
- Tier 2 (Phase-2)
- Interview (Phase-3)
The IB ACIO Tier 1 exam is a written, objective-type exam. The candidates who pass the Tier 1 exam will then appear in the Tier 2 exam. The Tier 2 exam is descriptive in nature and to pass the Tier 2 exam, candidates are required to score at least 33% marks. Based on Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam performances, candidates will be called for an Interview for the final round of selection.
