The Government of Himachal Pradesh is providing financial assistance to the students of its state in the form of scholarship under the Medha Protsahan Yojana. Under the HP Medha Incentive Scheme, students of the poor weaker sections ((SC, ST, OBC, BPL, IRDP) of the state will be given. The benefit of this scheme will be given to the students for coaching, studies, college, etc. Medha Incentive Scheme 1 lakh scholarship will be given for coaching in JEE, NEET, FMC, NDA, CLAT, UPSC, SSC, Banking/Insurance and Railway sector among others.(Medha Protsahan Scheme In the JEE, NEET, FMC, NDA, CLAT) , UPSC, SSC, Banking / Insurance and others like coaching for the railway sector, an Scholarship of Rs 1 lakh will be given.)

To take advantage of Himachal Medha Protsahan Yojana, the general category student should have more than 75% marks in 12. And the students of SC, ST, Backward Class, IRDP, BPL (SC, ST, OBC, IRDP, BPL category) should have more than 65% marks. Whereas the student of general category pursuing graduation will be given the benefit of Medha Protsahan Yojana with 50% marks and other caste category students with 45% marks.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be permanent residents of Himachal Pradesh.
• Selected candidates are required to attend all classes in the institute.
• Candidates must have scored at least 75% marks (65% SC/ST/OBC/IRDP/BPL) in case of 12th passed and 50% marks (45% marks SC/ST) in graduation.
• The family income of the applicants should not exceed Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand per annum.
• Only those beneficiaries whose name will be in the merit list will be given the benefit of the scheme.
• You must belong to SC, ST, OBC.
• Your family should be BPL ration card holder.
