Sri Suktam
The recitation of Shri Suktam helps and kills the presence of Shri Jyeshtha Lakshmi. Additionally, remember that Shri Jyestha Lakshmi has an owl as her mount, but Shri Adi Lakshmi has Garuda as her mount.
The Sri Sukta of the Vedas is recited with particular benefit on Fridays, along with regular worship of the Goddess, for peace, abundance and good luck in all areas. Lakshmi is usually identified as the spouse of Vishnu-Narayana, with whom she represents God’s glory. Narayana and Lakshmi, as such, stand for Becoming and Being.
